Olivia and I met up with some other mommas and babies today at Lazy Jane's, home of Madison's BEST scones. We were the first to arrive, so we settled in to the kids' section upstairs. (I can't wait until O is old enough to play with all the fun costumes they have!) There is a cute, itty bitty table with three itty bitty chairs for wee ones. Little Miss O pulled herself up by grabbing the edge of the table, then proceeded to walk around to where one of the chairs was. Supporting herself on the chair with one hand, she stood there waving gleefully with the other hand.'
THEN. Olivia, baby with the strength of an ox, grabbed on to the back of the chair with both hands, and proceeded to push the chair all the way across the room - while walking with it! I was amazed at her balance and control. And her ability to maintain flirty eye contact with a couple of strangers at a table a ways away, cooing with squeaky, dulcet tones all the while. (Show off...)
Needless to say, I had to smooch her and smooch her and SMOOCH HER! Such a strong baby girl!

oh my goodness, olivias glorious food photos are pretty much my favorite thing in the whole world right now! can she get any more adorable? i certainly hope not because i'm pretty sure i'd drop out of school and live on your futon.
ReplyDeletei love the one where she seems to be saying, "tell your moms and dads to by golden carrots, mine did and look how adorable i turned out" and then she would wink and her little tooth would sparkle in the lights. she's totally going to be star.
also rocking the strawberry pride, nice. (don't think i didn't notice, i totally almost bought that for her until i spent all my money on homemade onsies)
