To Sisterhood

The latest recipient of a KLASS award is my sister, Sally.

We met at Mother Fool's Coffeehouse last night, just the two of us. We curled up on a couch together, drank apricot teasanes, shared a vegan chocolate cupcake topped with a cloud of vanilla frosting, and shared our latest joys and frustrations. And the head massage...God bless you, Sal! I stumbled out of the place a little drunky on me-time. :) We headed to the polling place to fulfill our citizen duty for the Wisconsin primary, cackling all the way, and it brought me back to our grand adventure in Europe a few years ago.

Here's to the special bond of sisterhood!

  2. "sister-ers, sister-ers, there were never more devoted sisters..."

for some reason i always get that song stuck in my head.

also, remember in woman's choir when we had to sing stupid songs about sisters and love while the men sang awesome songs about drunken sailors? lame.

although sisters are pretty awesome when they allow you to sneak away for some grown up time. Nice work, Sal!
